STALL CARDS

Whether you're prepping for your first show or attending your tenth, stall cards are one of those small but essential details that make a big difference. They’re not just for looks - they serve a real purpose, especially when horses are stabled away from home.

That’s why I’ve created branded, easy-to-use stall card templates on Canva - designed specifically for Icarus Equestrian horses, students, and clients.

Why Use Stall Cards?

Stall cards are used at shows, clinics, and away-from-home events to:

  • Identify your horse’s name, emergency contact, and key care info

  • Help other riders or facility staff know who to contact in case of emergency

  • Display your horse’s barn or team affiliation (like Representing Icarus Equestrian)

  • Provide a clean, professional, and organized look to your show setup

They’re usually placed on the front of your horse’s stall door or tack stall and are a standard part of professional turnout - especially for multi-day shows and events.

How the Templates Work

The templates are designed in Canva, a free and user-friendly online platform.

To access and use the stall cards:

  1. Click the template link provided below

  2. Sign in to your Canva account (or create a free one)

  3. Click “Use Template” to open an editable version

  4. Fill in your horse’s name, your contact info, and emergency details,

  5. Download and print - or save for digital display

Need Help?

If Canva feels overwhelming or you'd rather not edit the template yourself - no problem! Just reach out to me directly, and I’d be happy to personalize and send you a ready-to-print version for your horse.

When to Use Stall Cards:

  • Rated or multi-day horse shows

  • Clinics or events with off-site stabling

  • Group travel with other horses or barns

  • Anytime your horse is away from home and may be handled by others

They’re a small detail - but they add a layer of professionalism, safety, and team identity that matters.

Let me know if you’d like help designing a custom version for your horse or show setup.

See you ringside!
